The new star of the Bag in Box packages. We finally provide the quality required by good wine.
The Bag-in-Box-System is already centuries old. In ancient Greece, wine was stored in tubes made of goat skin. 1955 it was William R. Scholle, who invented a container to store fluids safely and compactly. Today, many drinks are filled in such “bags” or “tubes”. The main advantages are a space-saving package and the vacuum bag for optimal storage.
Even if the bag is opened, the content stays fresh because no oxygen from outside can flow into the bag. Especially for the wine this is a decisive advantage, because it may not oxidize fast.
With our Bib-keg made from tinplate we have now created the possibility to offer the wine bag in an appropriate packaging. Unlike the cardboard our barrel is a decorative and promotionally effective package, which does not hide on a beautifully set table. The BIB Keg provides a secure protection against light and external influences. We can print on the keg with offset printing, and so the designers have a completely free hand for the layout.
